Day 104- Moon Township, Pennsylvania: Eternal Life
One of the biggest question that comes to our minds on most days is usually, “how do we stay close to God without the acknowledgement that comes with staying loyal to our Father through a direct message”? This complex answer comes in ways that we have to be open to receive them in. Such as, Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life. This is the first sacrifice that God made in order for us all to be saved from the wretches of hell. The second sign from God that validates His existence in this world was his resurrection from death in three days time. These events may seem like they were so long ago, but they still are real and relevant today as we walk along our journey.
Even though we are aware of these facts we may still question and wonder how specifically we are rewarded for our actions on Earth as a follower of Christ? Is there a moment or a specific event that gives us the reassurance that we need in order for us to feel appreciated as a loyal follower of God. Is there a sign that comes directly from God that validates our beliefs? The truth is that everyone likes to be appreciated and valued in this world. Our relationship with God is no different as we are constantly longing to be satisfied and accepted by Him.
When we look at the big picture we can clearly see that having the gift of eternal life is something that is to be remembered daily. It is easy to look at the negative aspects of this world and the bad events in our lives. When we open our hearts in order for the Holy Spirit to enter we realize how special to God we really are. When our prayers are answered we are truly in the presence of God. How we react in those moments define who we are and what we desire not only for today, but also for our future in Heaven when God presents Himself to us on Judgment Day.
