Day 109- Palm Beach, Florida: New Beginnings

The most wonderful aspect of life is knowing that we have so many opportunities to turn over a new leaf in order to start living our lives again. God gives us the resources from which we can overcome our past to have everything we ever wanted or needed in our lifetime. There are days when we have doubt and grow weary, but when we persevere through Jesus, we are saved from our despair. We must follow the Light of God that leads our hearts exactly where they belong, into God’s hands.

We have these feelings on our darkest days that separate us from the truth. The truth is that we are loved by a Father in ways that are not conceivable for many people who lack the faith necessary to see past the sadness the devil plays on their minds when they are down. Our lives can change in the matter of seconds and usually do. Some people wonder and ask, “what has changed between yesterday and today”? The answer is that a lot can change in one person’s life in just a 12-24 hour period. We can go from being king of the hill in our minds, to lying flat on our face in disgust.

Life is really that complex. However, with God in our hearts we know that any pain we experience is only temporary. That is right! It is only here for a short moment and then God comes in and fills us with absolute joy that is irreplaceable and invaluable. The start of a new day is a great opportunity to change the color of the picture we are painting. Life has many ups and downs as we all know, but the smiles far outweigh the tears. We must always remember that for every tear that we shed, is a rainbow on the horizon waiting to put a glimpse or a glimmer of hope for our future. This aspect really puts things into perspective for us to rejoice in the glory of God now and forever.
