Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 12

365 Days of Reflection Towards God’s Love and Acceptance
~June 4, 2014-June 3, 2015~

Day 12-Juno Beach, Florida:

We have been taught through our faith that God is made up of three persons, the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God in one Supreme Being. How can we understand this mystery? Some things in life we are not meant to fully comprehend and in this instance we have to trust what we feel in our hearts. God teaches us to be full of the Holy Spirit, repent to Jesus for our sins, and to worship only one God while being leery of false gods.

In order to move forward in light of these intense commandments, we have to shed our contradicting thoughts and focus on the power of the unknown. When we channel our thoughts on God and what serving Him actually means, we have the ability to become overwhelmed with joy knowing what the presence of God actually means in our lives. What it means specifically is that we are loved, extremely blessed, and ready to receive God as the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, and our Father as a pathway into Heaven.

Through Jesus’s teachings on Earth we have come to realize that we are reborn through the shedding of his blood at the cross with his crucifixion. At that moment of time we were healed and three days later he was resurrected to show how real what he endured for our sins was. As a result of this action by God we have the ability to be free from sin and enter into a covenant with Jesus as we receive the Holy Spirit into our heart, mind, and body.
