Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 14

365 Days of Reflection Towards God’s Love and Acceptance
~June 4, 2014-June 3, 2015~

Day 14-West Palm Beach, Florida:

The great thing about our relationship with God is that he accepts us for who we are. This does not mean there are no expectations for us as his loved children or that there are no consequences for our actions. However, what it does mean is that even though we fail and fall down, God will always be by our side no matter what. God also wants the very best for us as we progress through this world and demonstrates this in our daily lives through his work in and around us.

Understanding this simple fact can be very difficult to swallow on most days and easy on others. When we make mistakes or hurt someone it seems like we cannot talk to God. That is not what God wants for us. As a matter of fact, God wants us to return to Him humbled and remorseful for our actions when we fail. He does not reject us, think we are unworthy of His love, or throw us away. He does the exact opposite; He loves us unconditionally and forgives us.

This kind of Love only can come from God and is a symbol of how much we matter to our Father in Heaven. When we succeed and do good God is extremely happy and proud of us. Also, when we make it through the storm God is proud of us. He is with us every step of the way on our journey. We are never alone and when evil comes or we sin, God is still with us waiting for us to come home. That is something to remember and cherish every day as we walk with God, hand in hand, that we are Loved <3 Forever!

May God’s Love continue to shine on all of his children in both Heaven and on Earth. Amen.
