Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 23

Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 23

365 Days of Reflection Towards God’s Love and Acceptance
~June 4, 2014-June 3, 2015~

Day 23-West Palm Beach, Florida:

When faced with adversity we usually do one of two things. We either run towards God with absolute faith or we turn away from God as we run as fast as we can. Why do we live in fear, and why do we ignore the signs from God that show us the way? We have an extremely difficulty time listening to the Holy Spirit as the Word of God speaks to us in our times of need.

God teaches us to stay vigilant and on guard for trials and tribulations that we encounter to stay close to the Lord. That is why we are called to walk by faith and not by sight. There are many moments in our lives where our faith is tested and what we do in those moments define our true relationship with God. It is easy to try to rationalize circumstances and define them from a human perspective. However, God works beyond comprehension of the human mind and unless we are walking with Jesus, we will miss the miracles right in front of us.

We can look at adversity as a good thing or a bad thing. When we have faith we realize that no matter what, we will be ok. Trust God and have no fear. When we actually believe what we were taught, we never have anything to worry about through the gift of faith. Through faith, we all know in our Hearts that Jesus has the Power to solve any problem and we should not live in fear.
