Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 25

Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 25

365 Days of Reflection Towards God’s Love and Acceptance
~June 4, 2014-June 3, 2015~

Day 25-West Palm Beach, Florida:

What is kindness? There are many forms of kindness and most of them are free. The majority of people in this world are only searching for acceptance and support, not money. Money is a tool and even a fool knows that you cannot buy your way into Heaven. That is why true acts of kindness can really make a difference in someone’s life and have lifelong significances. This is what God wants us to focus on in this world.

When you give your time and services to others less fortunate than you, it is such a blessing to someone’s life. You cannot even comprehend how much of an impact that you can have on another one of God’s children. Jesus taught us to not boast about our accomplishments and to be humble in all that we do. Therefore, when we do things for others we should not scream at the top of the mountains, because our actions will speak for themselves on judgment day before God, our Father.

When you volunteer at a hospital or retirement home you see the joy in the eyes of those in pain, even if only for a few moments. Your presence really makes a difference in those around you and your love can reach unknown boundaries through God’s mercy. Today how can you help someone in need or make someone feel special? How many days will go by without touching someone’s life for their happiness and not yours? We have to fix our eyes on the cross and forgo feelings of selfishness when we have so much more potential as a follower of Jesus Christ.
