Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 56

365 Days of Reflection Towards God’s Love and Acceptance
~June 4, 2014-June 3, 2015~

Day 56-West Palm Beach, Florida:

Once we have a relationship with Jesus and are on the right track towards a quality relationship with our Father, it may be time to start to spread our wings in the local community together as one body. There are many ways to come together in the Church of Christ, no matter what specific religion we practice. There are ample amounts of jobs that need filled within our faith and God calls each person differently through the church and beyond.

Even though God calls us all separately or individually, He also calls us collectively as well to spread the Good News of Jesus. One of the ways to do so is through fellowship of prayer together in our churches or in our homes with other believers. Praying together has miraculous results and truly unites God’s children on Earth. When we pray together there are many moments where tears are shed, times of great joy and laughter, and miracles are revealed to us as well.

Whether it is informally through a general conversation with a friend or formally through a prayer group, we have the authority and responsibility to testify as to the many ways that God has both affected and changed our lives while respecting the beliefs of others as well. Everyone has their own story and when we share them together we bear witness to the results of trusting God. In addition, we are all uplifted during these moments and many people are even saved themselves at the testimony of another follower of Jesus, which is very powerful.
