Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 6

Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 6

365 Days of Reflection Towards God’s Love and Acceptance
~June 4, 2014-June 3, 2015~

Day 6-Richmond, Virginia:

With life so busy and “stuff” happening everyday, where does God fit into our lives? On Sundays do we have the time to pause and go to church? Can we just put our phones down for 5 minutes to pray? In a world full of instant communication, how do we take the time to thank God for all of our blessings? That is the million-dollar question, right?

Our Father has a lot of patience, because how else can someone wait, wait, and wait for a chance to have a few minutes to talk to his children. As a parent, most of us know that communication with our children is not only a top priority, but also is essential to feeling at ease in our heart that our kids are safe and happy. The same is true with God. He is always here for us, listening to our prayers as they come. The power of prayer is quite remarkable, and there are many times we would not get through life without God’s saving grace. If we devote more time to God, we can have a better understanding of what our exact role is in this world.

We all have a purpose on this beautiful planet that we all live on. Are we not all anxious to know what are place is or where we fit into it all? Having a direct dialogue with God not only enhances our psychological well being, but also answers many unknown questions for us as well. Because of faith and love we all have the capacity to find our place in this world; when we make time for God, in midst of all of the social media white noise, we are fully prepared to receive our individual messages from the Father directly to us all as his loved children. We just need to check our inbox from God more regularly and we will be on our way!
