Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 76

365 Days of Reflection Towards God’s Love and Acceptance

Day 76- West Palm Beach, Florida: Wisdom

When we pick up the Bible and start reading from beginning to end or as we jump through chapters we start to gravitate towards the scriptures that speak directly to our hearts. The reason why this happens is because God speaks to us individually in our own way. Therefore, during this process of trying to get a grasp on what God is telling us, we start to realize what exactly each passage means and how we can apply it to our lives. Through the wisdom we gain from God we begin to learn more and more about what is expected of us from Jesus, and as a result we begin to grow in our faith in many ways we never thought possible.

It takes time to really start to understand the information in the Bible, because it can be very perplexing and difficult to digest what God is asking us to do. We usually have many questions and seek out ways to have all of those questions answered through our conversations with God. That is why God is constantly sending us blessings and information along our journey to help us understand the Mystery of our Faith. Therefore, we have to seek out and pray for God’s wisdom to surround us so that we may have a better opportunity to find our place at His table.

When we receive communion we get to experience the presence of God and that is where it all comes together, as we realize why Jesus was sent to Earth to die on the cross in order for our sins to be forgiven. If we are saved and know that the Holy Spirit dwells within us, we know that we are going to a better place when we exit this world. We also know that we have an obligation to God to do our duty, as we are called to go out and share the good news of the Lord. Praying for the wisdom to know the difference between what God wants us to do and what we want to do can really help develop our hearts and minds through our Biblical discovery.
