Day 82- Charleston, South Carolina: Nothing Can Separate Us From the Love of God

When we are born into this world we have the burden of original sin from Adam and Eve. However, when we are baptized we are healed and reborn through Christ Jesus. This significant moment that occurs after birth for some and for others later in life signifies our commitment to obey the commandments of God. The bond that is created in this moment is divine and creates a bond so strong with God that nothing can interfere with the chosen path of His children in this world.

The devil will try to corrupt and influence the work of God in this world, but to no avail. God is so powerful and loving that he has the jurisdiction that satan longs to possess within the human race. The fact of the matter is that God created us and we are all marked for His kingdom. We all have the ability to choose our destiny and decide for ourselves if we will submit to God or the devil. The act of submission towards God should not be viewed as an action from a weak human, but rather an act of love towards our Lord and Savior.

There is a struggle or battle that occurs everyday and we are right in the middle of the war. In war there are always casualties and days where you lose precious ground on the battlefield. Many brave men and woman have sacrificed their lives to protect freedom and to stop satan from taking a stronghold in this world. We cannot lose faith or abandon ship when the bullets start flying. Rather we have to bear true faith and allegiance to our God who we love and adore, as He likewise loves and adores us.

We have to fight the good fight and pray for God’s intercession in all of our actions. Regardless of the daily battles that we win or lose, God is still in our presence and will protect us from all of our enemies who are trying to steal our souls in the name of lucifer. With God by our side the work of the devil will never be successful, but without God we are walking a fine line that could separate us from Heaven on judgment day if we do not repent and ask for God’s mercy.
