Day 83- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: Jesus Won’t Let Go

When we are weak, God is strong. When we are scared, God is there to protect us. When we have doubt, God enriches us with all of His great glory. When we are falling off the ledge, Jesus reaches out his hand and pulls us up from danger. Jesus is with us in every moment of our lives, and He never let’s go no matter what. We may not be able to see these actions, but we know that in every circumstance it will all be ok with the love of God behind us.

Having the ability to see past the surface of the day will allow us to live without fear knowing Jesus endured a death so brutal that our problems are minor in comparison. However, in our eyes every problem is a tragedy and we run around with a fire extinguisher trying to fix everything immediately. What if we didn’t have to do that? What if we could lean on God and He can put the fires out for us. He can and He will do just that, because the Lord knows our desires before we even utter a single word.

In spite of everything that we have been through, good and bad, we are still valued and regarded as a valuable person in God’s eyes in spite of our faults. That is why when life throws us a curve ball we just have to fall on our beliefs and not our worldly desires. It is easy to back slide and fall away from God. It is easy to turn away from God. It is easy to blame and curse God, but we accomplish nothing for our soul when we do this. However, if we praise Jesus and offer up our talents for His glory, we are destined for a life filled with joy. God is always listening to our prayers and petitions; if we would only ask we shall receive in the name of the Lord. The next time we get down, let us all let Jesus take the wheel.
