Day 88-Homestead, Pennsylvania: New Problems as Old Problems Fade

Problems in our lives have the ability to over power us and consume our lives in various aspects. As a result, we do everything within our power to find a solution in the most effective manner possible. As humans we do not want to deal with problems, but everyday presents us with a new challenge. In reality, when one problem fades another one arises. This is a very uneasy feeling that we walk around with always trying to solve problems, but we must be able to adapt and overcome in the face of adversity.

This is where God comes into the equation for us all. He is the calm in the storm. He is the beginning and the end. He is the constant in our lives that never change. When our world is falling apart all around us, we have God right by our side. We can lose a job and with God’s grace we will get a new one in time. We can fall on hard financial times and be blessed with everything we need before we know it. We can be homeless and then we have a place to stay forever. In one day everything can change for the better when we have absolute faith.

Our lives begin and end with Jesus Christ. Without God we will be nervous and live in fear. With God we are as strong as 10 Ox’s. With the power of our Lord and Savior behind us the impossible is possible. We should not be in such a rush to fix everything, because when we do this we do not allow God to move our lives in the direction that he wants us to go in. We do not know why we all have our own battles to fight, but we do know that no matter what our situation is that we are usually better off than someone else. In a world filled with drug and alcohol additions, sex addictions, and various other problems we all must trust God in order to survive.

Lord, we pray that you release us from our temptations and guide us towards your destination for us. Amen.
