Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 9

Heart to Heart with God: A Journey Towards Acceptance Day 9

365 Days of Reflection Towards God’s Love and Acceptance
~June 4, 2014-June 3, 2015~

Day 9-West Palm Beach, Florida:

How do we know if God is real? We cannot see him and we also cannot talk to him face to face. What is it that leads us to believe that God is real? Is it our upbringing from our families own beliefs or is it what we have learned over the course of our lives that gives us hope for a better tomorrow with a relationship with God through the Bible? The truth is that it is extremely difficult to believe in something that you truly cannot comprehend, but with God in our hearts we can see through the doubt.

These questions are what lead us to coming closer to God and then at times being pulled away from God. We are constantly battling and questioning our faith, which is a sign that we struggle with what we really believe in. The world puts a lot of doubt in our minds, but God is always with us regardless of where we are in our journey. Through love and self-discovery the answers are in plain sight about whether God is real or not.

When a child is born into this world you can see the miracle of life right in front of us. God is always with us providing information that proves who He is and where we belong in this world. The specific religions that we follow all lead us to the same Father, but with some variations. Through faith we can see the truth and the struggles become easier everyday. God loves us and is prepared to forgive us for our faults. At the end of the day we all want to know the truth. The truth is right in front of us and all we have to do is open our eyes to see this through faith in God as our Father.
