Day 93-Mount Washington, Pennsylvania: Heaven

You may have had someone ask you or overheard a conversation that someone else was having about Heaven in regards to whether it is real or not. This is a very debatable conversation and can also raise many questions after the fact within our own faith. So what is it? Is Heaven real? Will we go to Heaven or Hell when we leave this place? If you believe what the bible says, you already know the answer. However, if you are on the fence and are not sure, the only way you will find out the answer is through a “Heart to Heart conversation with God”.

It is great to talk to friends and relatives about religion, but they do not have all the answers except what God has taught them along their own journey and through their individual strong believe in the Bible, if that is the case. The question you may want to really ask yourself when speaking to others about this topic is the following: “Do you really want to risk it”?

There are two points to consider after we ask ourselves this straightforward question. 1. On one side of the fence, if Heaven is real and you do not have the faith that God has given you the choice to choose, will you risk perishing in hell? Is that genuinely a viable option for anyone? 2. On the other side, if you believe and truly know that there is a Heaven, you get to reap all of the benefits in the land where milk and honey is in an abundant supply. When you look at it that way, there really isn’t much to consider is there?

We will never be able to see, smell, touch, or taste Heaven in this world, unless God chooses in extraordinary circumstances to reveal Himself to whomever He chooses for whatever reason that is incomprehensible to us as humans. Therefore, we have only our faith in Jesus Christ and our Father Almighty to lead us to the Promised Land. Do we sell out and turn our soul over to lucifer, because of doubt? Are not our souls worth a million pieces of gold and more? Our lives are valuable and we are all valuable in the eyes of God. As we grow closer with God the answers become clearer and clearer. How we choose to live our lives is on us and we have the choice to decide through God’s grace and blessing.

God, we pray that everyone in this world finds the hope you provide within themselves, in order to realize the Kingdom that awaits those who have and keep Your faith in Jesus’s Holy Name we pray. Amen.
