Day 97-Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: We Can Do It!

Though the journey is long and hard. We will get through it all as we are constantly growing along the way. The day-to-day routines that we have are leading us towards God’s vision for us. Therefore, what drum will we march to today and what will we do to change a life today? How will we find a way to live out God’s plan for us? Will we reach out to a stranger for help, will we forgive a long time friend who we have not spoken to because of a disagreement that we had in the past, or will we pray for those less fortunate than us?

We can and should do more than we did yesterday. What did we learn from our past that can help shape our future with God at the center of the equation? How can we incorporate Jesus into our lives in new ways that in the past we refused to do? Asking ourselves these type of questions daily, allows us to really examine how we are doing as Christians or within whatever faith that we follow. With God on our side we cannot fail and we can do it. When we realize our potential, overcome obstacles, and trust God we are on our way.

Seeing through the blinding storm in front of us is the problem that we face when maintaining our faith. We struggle with putting on the cold weather gear and marching on. It takes a level of training when the bullets start flying to be brave and endure that only God can provide us with.

When we are weak, Jesus is strong for us. When we fall, Angels sent from God pick us up from Heaven. We are a strong and powerful community when we band together as one. We are one set of people. We all have one goal. We all have the capacity to heal, love, and grow. God loves us all beyond our wildest imaginations. So with God by our side, the world is a superhighway of opportunities to help make the world a better place for all to enjoy.
