Day 119- Richmond, Virginia: Deception and Lies

We cannot allow ourselves to fall into the trap of the devil. lucifer is the horned king of both the deception that occurs in our minds and the lies that come out of his mouth to encourage us to not trust God. Jesus teaches us that He is Alpha and the Omega and in Revelation the following is foretold: “These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful”.

We have a choice to make in life, either trust and obey God or allow satan to destroy our hearts and minds for his use in hell. We are not forced to believe anything in this world, but we are giving the power to choose our destiny. We can obey God and listen to the Holy Spirit within us, we can pray to have our sins forgiven, and we can choose to walk away from the lies of the devil or we can submit to our earthly desires and or treasures, which will fade away in time anyway. From the Gospel of Luke, we are educated in this manner, “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you have prepared? So is the man who stores up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

Much is required of us and much is to be gained in Heaven. From Luke we are taught so much about what is going on around us and how we should be preparing now for what is to come when we least expect: “Now having been questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst”. We are already in the midst of God and do not have to wait for what we already have. We must stay prepared, always rebuke satan and all of his empty promises for the Kingdom of God is at hand.
