Day 134- Cincinnati, Ohio: Never Alone

No matter how bad it seems or how bad it gets in our lives, if we keep our faith God will show us the way. We are never alone. We are never without the ultimate problem solver right next to us. When we have a relationship with Jesus, we have a relationship with God and when we have a relationship with God that is positive we have absolutely nothing to worry about in this world. How could we ever have a fear when our Lord and Savior has our backs in every circumstance?

As we all know, life has its ups and downs. We have been through the thick and thin and sooner rather than later it is going to get better. How are we so sure? The way that we know is by looking back over our life so far, for every bad day there are 100 good days. How could the love that Jesus has for us let us have less than a blessed and wonderful life? The plan for us has a happy ending. The plan for us as a community of Christians is to rejoice and unite in Heaven with all of our brothers and sisters with God.

There is never a reason to get down or turn our backs on God. Is it His fault that we lost our job or may get evicted from our house due to a loss of wages? Is it His fault we were born into a household where a parent is an alcoholic, drug addict or is abusive? Absolutely not! God puts us in different situations and we have the “Power” from God, with his mercy, to make our own lives serve a higher purpose in this world. With God we have the ability to have all of our dreams come true in this world and watch as miracles happen all around us. Without God we are depressed, lonely, and in essence dead in every sense of the word.

Our lives are worth something and why would we want to throw a precious life away to follow the devil who is a complete liar and wants to destroy the beauty of what God created out of jealousy? The devil tells us that we are weak and worthless. God tells us we are loved and beautiful. It does not matter what your sex or race is. God does not care if we are black or white, Asian or German, or a male or female. He loves us all the same. God loves us, because He created us in His image. He wants us to be happy and complete. Today is a blessing and with God by our side the “Sky is the Limit Both in Heaven and on Earth”; from Psalm, “Because of his strength I will watch for You, For God is my stronghold”. Amen.

God, thank you for never leaving our side and saving us from the depths of hell. Amen.
