Day 138- West Palm Beach, Florida: Unconquered

With Jesus by our side we are unstoppable. With the love of God we can accomplish anything that we put our hearts and minds to. There is not a time that we have failed with Jesus leading the way. We are unconquered and free with God as a central part of our lives. God knows when we put everything into overcoming sin and obeying the laws of God. In addition, our Father is aware of how hard we work and He knows the sacrifices that we make throughout our lives.

Being a follower of God commandments is not a tiresome task. For example, we are instructed by God to love our enemies, from Matthew: “You have heard that it was said, ‘AN EYE FOR AN EYE, AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.’ But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, let him have your coat also”. Even though we are faced with turmoil, we should not fret or become anger with God or ourselves, because with God we have no enemy to be afraid of. We must embrace our troubles and thank God for the wisdom to overcome the hardships of life with great joy and happiness.

God triumphs on our behalf against those who set out to do us harm and we can only go up from here as we enjoy the benefits of being a disciple of Jesus. Our enemy will try to pull us down and make us feel guilty for believing in something that they cannot see at the moment or do not understand. It is a gift to comprehend the Word of God and embrace the teachings of our Lord and Savior. Rejoice and be glad for the great works of our Father in our lives, because without the mercy we receive we are lost waiting to be found.

God, please help those facing a difficult situation in their lives and also for those who are under attack by satan, to trust in your Holy Name. Amen.
