Day 139- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: What We Are Made Of
From the beginning of time, God designed us all in a sophisticated way that makes us able to breathe, eat, live, and survive on the land that was provided to us by our Father in Heaven. We are all made up of six elements that are also found in the ecosystem we all live in: 1. Oxygen, 2. Carbon, 3. Hydrogen, 4. Nitrogen, 5. Calcium, and 6. Phosphorus. Without all of these unique components of our body, we would not exist. Our God is so powerful that he formed us in an instant from the Earth.
From Genesis the creation of man was described like this, “But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground. Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being”. Wow! The way that we were formed is quite fascinating and really makes you think about how far we have evolved since the beginning of time. It is quite remarkable the technological advancements that we have been able to make. Do we think we have done this alone or has God helped us in our endeavors?
We choose to believe what we want to believe, but the facts are the facts. Right? From the Apostle Matthew, we are taught from Jesus what really defines us as a man and woman on Earth in God’s eyes: “Every plant which My heavenly Father did not plant shall be uprooted. Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit”. Does God not plant every seed that we sow? Are we not all a part of our Creator’s Spirit, which lives within us? We are a part of God and God is a part of us. That is what we are made of and the truth will always set us free. Once we open our eyes to see the truth of God we are healed and made whole in the eyes of the Lord.
We can do nothing without the grace and mercy of God. Man does not do this alone, nor will we survive if we turn our backs on God. What God plants within us, is what we will become. The choice is our to either follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, through God or to ignore His teachings and follow the blind. If we choose to follow the blind, we will endure a fate that is not something any man or woman should wish on one another in Hell. However, if we obey God’s commandments we will be have life eternal.
