Day 161- Richmond, Virginia: Bulletproof

Since when can we stop a bullet? Since can we stop a natural disaster from happening? Since we can we stop a runaway train from crashing? We cannot. However, God can and He will for us. We are not bulletproof, but with God by our side anything and everything is possible, in the name of Jesus. Nothing or no one can hurt a person who is marked for the Kingdom of God. The body may scar and the body may be injured, but we will never be in real pain. The reason why is the only real pain that is eternal is the pain that we could experience if we do not repent for our sins, with our soul rotting from the depths of hell upon death.

In Psalm God teaches us how to pray and how to have a strong will so that we will survive, “In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed; In Your righteousness deliver me. Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly; Be to me a rock of strength, A stronghold to save me. For You are my rock and my fortress; For Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me”. God will lead us and guide us. We have no excuse; because when we are lost God will find us. Jesus will show up at our door and allow us to choose the road we will go down. The choice is ours to make, as we either try to stop the pain ourselves or we choose to allow God to do it for us.

The hardest part is letting go of the pride that can controls our thoughts and our relationship with our Father in Heaven. We may think that we are invincible and that we are unstoppable alone. No man can survive on an island alone. We all need each other and we all need God to provide for us. There is no I in team, nor is there any glory for individual accolades that are based on selfish desires of the heart. With God we work together as a team, we live together as one society, and we love one another with an unconditionally heart.
