Day 174- Richmond, Virginia: Scripture

Many people on Earth challenge the words written in the Bible. They question the validity of the scripture that shapes of lives of billions of people all over the world, who claim the description of being a Christian. In life, when a road comes to a fork in the road there are two paths that lead us either in the direction of Christ or away from Jesus. The road that leads to a destination known or the road that leads us on a journey where doubt will leave us lost and alone if we do not adhere to the signs from God that we are all given. So what do we choose or what will we choose?

One element is for sure, either we choose the Word of God as we accept the Bible as truth based on our faith or we take a risk if we choose to view the Bible as a fabrication of the truth. Who is right or wrong? On Earth we may never have the answer to that question, outside of what the Bible teaches us. However, when we pass and leave this place we will be faced with reality, regardless of what path we choose to follow. God has the power to help us see the light and along the way we are given pieces of information that validate the unknown elements of this world that we often ponder.

It is not hard to realize the importance of believing in something that we cannot see, in order to gain the Kingdom of God. John the Apostle, has a passage in his book that clearly explains what the purpose of his testimony was: “Therefore many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name”. Amen. There are times of strife and there is doubt that can arise, but over the course of our lives we begin to understand that the answer to those unknown questions that linger in our minds, which lead us to follow God at all cost.
