183 Days of Reflection Towards God’s Love and Acceptance
~June 4, 2014-December 3, 2014
Day 175- Richmond, Virginia: Judgment
How are we judged? For what are we judged? When we are called what will our verdict be, in or out of Heaven? Will we be deemed worthy to enter God’s Kingdom? Will we be judged fairly? The answer comes through our faith, as we come to realize that we are both free and saved through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Through this act of love, we are reborn as a community-seeking acceptance on the day we reach the end of our journey.
God hears our concerns and through exploration of the Bible the expectations become clearer and clearer. From 2 Peter, “But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance”. When we seek we shall find and when we knock the door will be opened. All of the answers are accessible to us, if we only turn the page to uncover the truth.
