Positive Thinking as a Way of Life

Having the ability to think positively is a mindset that begins the moment you wake up in the morning and continues until you go to sleep at night.  What is the difference between your happiness and the happiness of others?  The answer is in the way they approach their day.  The act of thinking positively is a methodology that you have to take within yourself in order to get your feelings and emotions rationalized.

The way that you are able to take control of your thoughts is by taking the time to understand what makes you happy internally first and externally second.  You must start to analyze yourself to start to truly know what your exact level of thought to action process is.  This is critical in starting to understand what gives you the pathway in taking the appropriate and reasonable steps to turn negative thinking into positive thinking.

The seven steps outlined below can help you accomplish the act of thinking positively once you are able to incorporate them into your everyday life.  It is easier than you think, and the outcome is well worth the time you are investing in yourself.  When you think positively, good things happen as a result.  It is like anything in life; you only get out what you put in.

  3. Take time during the day for yourself
  4. Practice being patient
  5. Map out a plan in advance
  6. Stay prepared for change
  7. Smile more than frown

Your happiness and outlook on life comes from within yourself.  You have the “Power” to be in control of your thoughts and actions in most cases.  Learning to channel your thought to action process in a positive manner is what will have the biggest impacts for your health and work-life balance.  You were meant to be happy and fulfilled in your life, and when others see you as a positive thinker they may have a new outlook as well.  It only takes one person to impact others in a similar manner. It starts with you and I as the catalyst for positive change in the world we all live in. Lets start making that change today.

      First off thank you for your comments; now let’s elaborate a little more on the original post from which I have the following follow-up comments.

      “Life is extremely difficult and it can really find ways to bring us down in unique ways both individually and collectively as a society. When we have moments where we are thinking negatively and are losing hope we have to remember the good things and focus on the positives. This specifically applies when we start to feel like things are not going our way or that we are sinking below a level where we feel like we cannot manage under the current circumstances.

      We have to apply strategies and set goals in our daily lives. If we do not have a system that allows us to stay focused we could crack when faced with extreme pressure. The seven steps outlined are a building block of the fundamentals needed to go further than you thought both physically and emotionally when faced with adversity.”

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I read several articles today, but this one (“positive thinking”) made me stop and perform a gut check. It was an AHA moment that has and will have a different approach to everything and everybody.
