Why Do We Question Ourselves?

Why Do We Question Ourselves?

Having faith in yourself is one of the most important aspects of getting control of your life. You can have everything lined up and something unexpectedly happens. It’s very frustrating and causes doubt. When we are faced with doubt, it makes us feel uncomfortable. This naturally leads us to question ourselves.

This cycle is no respecter of persons – it doesn’t discriminate. It happens to us all at several stages of our lives. So how we manage those situations will determine our success or failure. You can never give up on yourself. Why? Once you give up, you will never know what could have been, dealing with regret for the rest of your life.

It’s easier to go forward than to go back. When you try to reverse-engine a process, it’s difficult to replicate the exact aspects of a situation. Ask yourself, why should I go backwards when I can learn how to maximize my efforts today? When you have a clear-cut plan and are making sound decisions, you gain confidence that will impact future decisions.

The pressures of life can strain us and cause stress that makes it harder to find the answer we need. As we examine what we are facing, we uncover the following – various Internet sources estimate that an adult makes about 35,000 remotely conscious decisions each day. Wow! Now you can see why it is so hard to get it right 100% of the time! It’s virtually impossible to make 35,000 correct decisions every single day.

We are going to make mistakes and some bad decisions. That’s okay, as long as we learn from our mistakes and make a better decision next time. That’s why we can’t question ourselves! Rather, we have to embrace our successes and celebrate the opportunities that allow us to learn. When we learn, we become stronger and smarter. We become the person we are meant to be. It most likely won’t happen all at once, but that’s okay, because what doesn’t harm us makes us better.
